Finding the right kitchen sink is no easy task. My friend is remodeling her kitchen and she asked me if I had any ideas. I knew I wrote a blog post about shopping for kitchen sinks. I was right. However, the post is from 2015 so I decided to update the blog post. So if you’re looking for a new sink or just need some kitchen design inspiration, then this blog is for you. Here are some of the latest kitchen sinks! I even left the old copy from the 2015 post so you can learn my own kitchen sink design process.

Today, the focus is on the kitchen and kitchen sinks.  As my guy TE and I work on the full home remodel of the new place in Malibu, I have been dissecting all aspects of every room in a home.

We have chosen a super wide double stainless steel sink.  Yes, we will be using sink sound-dampening pads to insulate the bottom of the sink basins so they are not really noisy.   While we are completely gutting the entire almost 4000 square foot house, we are doing some recycling by reusing the existing industrial-style kitchen sink.  Our contractor is going to see if his metal guy can reconfigure the existing integrated sink into a single under-mount sink.  The ship has sailed for us on sink choices…but thought you might it useful to know about the latest and greatest in modern kitchen sinks!
